3rd European Workshop on LCA for Algal Biofuels and Biomaterials

Following the success of the 1st and 2^nd European Workshops on LCA for Algal Biofuels, the Directorate General for Energy in close cooperation with the European Algae Biomass Association (EABA) is organising the 3^rd European Workshop on LCA for Algal Biofuels and Biomaterials. Furthermore the Workshop will also address the European Commission's draft Mandate to CEN for algal biofuels and biomaterials as well as issues relating to up-scaling. The Workshop will be structured on the basis of invited presentations, submitted abstracts and panel discussions.

The purpose of the Workshop is to discuss with all key stakeholders the progress achieved over the past year since actual data from the projects of the Algae Cluster (http://www.algaecluster.eu/) are expected to be available and to be incorporated in the joint effort to benchmark the LCA for algal biofuels.  

The workshop will take place in Brussels on Monday, 11 May 2015 starting at 09.00.
