An Information Management System is put in place, using an adaptation of the existing Integrated Marine Information System (IMIS), to offer access to information about Marine Biotechnology stakeholders (persons and institutions) and projects in Europe and beyond.
This database is being developed within the CSA MarineBiotech project and will be constantly updated and expanded during the Marine Biotechnology ERA-NET.
In the longer term, the database will facilitate the consultation of a publicly-accessible resource regarding the Marine Biotechnology landscape in Europe.
The submenus will guide you through the available and accessible modules: Persons, Institutions and Projects which are active or related in the field of Marine Biotechnology. You can request a full list of a specific module or select a specific subset by executing a simple or advanced search.
A list of Institutions provides an easy overview of the different types of institutions (Scientific, Education, Funding Agency, Network, Commercial) involved in Marine Biotechnology.
If you are associated with a European company, institute or network and active in the field of Marine Biotechnology you can add your contact details to the information database. This will increase your visibility in the European community of marine biotechnology and will allow authorisation for editing the Portal on Marine Biotechnology (Infopages) within the Coastal and Marine Wiki.
If you are a partner in a regional, national or international project in the field of Marine Biotechnology you can add the project details to the information database.
